A confluence of Afro-Brazilian Candomble’ rituals, Gnawa ceremonies, mystical Sephardic melodies and Electronic beats brought by musicians from Brazil, Morocco, Israel, and the United States, tonight’s performance is created by vocalist/composer, Mossa Bildner, and features Dendê Macedo. The critic Eva Yaa Asantewaa described her as “a mellower Diamanda Galás, a way funkier Paul Winter, a Brazilian Auntie Mame on acid.”
